This is a huge lovemail carrd for my best girl ever, she means the WORLD to me and I'm happy to show all my love for her in this carrd!
Minmay is a true queen!
Lynn Minmay means everything to me, she gives me the biggest comfort and seeing her instantly cheers me up. She has been a huge comfort from me being in a toxic abusive relationship (2017) and now. I love her singing so much, I'm so glad that Mari Iijima gave the character so much life.
How it all happen and the impact she has given me overall.
Around the end of June 2017, my close friend introduced me to Macross since we both are huge fans of both idol and mecha franchises. I remember watching DYRL and instantly falling for Mimay instantly from her singing, character, and her design. She was very interesting in my eyes as well, as I continued watching the movie, her song 'Do You Remember Love' gave me a huge impact into my life. Her vocals in the song is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. The whole part of her singing while the battle started was beautifully done especially from its time in my opinion. The animation is super beautiful and eye capturing too, along with the emotion that was given into the song by Minmay and Mari too. I was in a VERY bad place during that year and her songs always cheered me up, even just seeing an image of her
She's so underrated but yet lovely
It's sad that shes underrated; shes a really great character in my opinion but also she does have flaws. Macross is sadly underrated here in the states from what i've seen so far along with the series being hard to get into if you're really not into mechas and only like the idol parts. I really love seeing people give her alot of love because she honestly deserved it. I really recommend many people to get into Macross if they can. It's really good and its best to either start with DYRL or Frontier if you want to give it a try!
This Carrd will most likely update whenever it can, but Minmay is absolutely lovely and deserves so much more love <3
